- Its the only “normal” build that performs super well and I would categorize it firmly as the best crusader speedfarming build. Historically saders had to deal with thorns pony – I don’t miss this at all. More recently Akkhan Condemn or Shield Throw wasn’t that bad, I suppose. The Crusader has certainly seen better days in Diablo 3. The barrage of nerfs to certain Crusader builds back in the previous seasons has placed it in a lower spot in overall clear speed. Still, it can be a solid choice for Season 21 as one of the most powerful Crusader builds out there, the Aegis of Valor/Heaven’s Fury build, is still viable.
0Shares2000In this post, you will find the list of the best classes to conquer Diablo 3 Season 22. You will see them in Diablo 3 Season 22 Classes Tier List with a variety of suitable builds.
S tier
These are the best classes in Diablo 3 Season 22 that will serve you well in any situation.
Necromancer
The Masquerade of the Burning Carnival, which was added to the game last season, looked very promising at first glance, but in fact, turned out to be much weaker than other builds for this class. However, everything changed in the new season. Bone Spear has received a huge buff and Necromancer is unconditionally becomes favourite on this list. There is nothing that Masquerade Bone Spear Build was inferior to – it is the best not only in Solo and Group Greater Rifts ranking but also ideal for speed farm.

Season 22 pleased players with a new build for the Crusader – Akkhan Thorns Bombardment. In addition to high damage, the fourth slot in Kanai’s Cube made it possible to use the Norvald’s Fervor set, which added mobility and clear speed. All this allowed the Crusader to take first place in the Group and Solo Greater Rifts pushing and made it one of the best classes in the new season.

The class set that appeared last season allowed the Demon Hunter to become one of the best classes in the game. Yes, this is the Gears of Dreadlands set. It has remained intact in the new season, and best of all, you can get it from Haedrig’s Gifts. This set allows you to clean the highest levels of Greater Rifts, while despite the simple rotation, huge damage and speed are guaranteed to you. Besides the GoD Hungering Arrow Build, which is one of the top builds in principle, there are quite a few decent builds with Multishot, Rapid Fire and Impale.

Barbarian
This class remains one of the most versatile of all. Barbarian can not only perfectly clean Solo Greater Rifts, but is also indispensable in the group and copes with speed farm wonderfully. It also has a wide variety of builds – WotW Rend, MotE Earthquake or Seismic Slam and Raekor Support Build. He is still strong in the new season 22 and the only reason why he went down to the tier below is a lot of competition due to the two buffed classes.
Barbarian OverviewRecommended Build: Wrath of the Wastes RendMonk
Another slot in Kanai’s Cube opened up the opportunity for Monk to use Shenlong’s Spirit set. This added a significant boost to damage. But in what this class has no equal, it is in the speed of cleaning any content. At the same time, PoJ Tempest Rush Builds are very variable, which allows players to choose the most suitable build for them. In addition, Monk has not lost its place in the group – there is no better tank than Inna’s Mantra Support.

Witch Doctor
After the addition of the set to the game Mundunugu’s Regalia (in Season 20), nothing significant for the buff of this class happened. Last season also slightly nerfed a new set (phantasms no longer count as pets), which affected the overall Witch Doctor rating. Unfortunately, only the Spirit Barrage Build remains top among all the builds of this class, with no obvious competitors. Therefore, if you want to achieve high levels in Solo Greater Rifts pushing, you have to choose it.

Despite minor changes, Wizard is still the weakest class in the game. Unfortunately, other classes are better in every possible way, so it will be difficult to play with them. Nevertheless, Frost Hydra Builds are quite popular in the new season, so if you haven’t played such a build yet and want to try it, it’s time to do it. Frozen Orb and Energy Twister Builds have also become much better, which leaves the player with a choice, because all three skills are good enough.

Akkhan's Condemn Crusader is the Top Tier build for its' class. While still one of the best builds in the game, it's currently tied for the first place with the Sweep build based on Roland's Legacy set. This set was so powerful, it wasn't buffed in Patch 2.6.4, yet it still remains in the very top few builds in Diablo 3.

General information
The entire build is based on the Armor of Akkhan set which provides the following bonuses:
- Reduces the Wrath cost of all abilities by 50% when Akarat's Champion is active (2/6)
- Reduces the cooldown of Akarat's Champion by 50% (4/6)
- While Akarat's Champion is active, the Crusader deals 1500% increased damage and takes 50% less damage (6/6)
Akkhan was the best set in the game in previous patches. It left the majority of other sets and builds far behind in terms of high GR pushing, and it was left untouched in Patch 2.6.4 so that other builds can cope up with its' immense capabilities.
The build's mechanics revolve around Akarat's Champion spell, which provides terrific offensive and defensive bonuses. Because of relying on the skill to be able to deal any damage, the most important attribute on your gear is Cooldown Reduction. If you are using Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan (as recommended in this guide) you will have to remember to be always on the move, otherwise, you will be losing a lot of DPS.
- Use Akarat Champion when facing Elites, Bosses, big packs, and in emergency situations
- Spam Condemn while under the effect of Akarat's Champion for immense damage.
- Keep five stacks of Slash Guard armor bonus at all times
- Using Provoke and Steel Skin when their cooldown is off for great defensive utility
